Hey Anonymous,
You kick him baby i'm barefooted!
The sad thing about Tim Treadwell is that a lot of good people bought in to his demented rambling and by playing to his ego they helped to set him up for a tragic fall that resulted in not only his death but Amy's as well not to mention the deaths of two browns. Imagine all of the school children that were exposed to Treadwell's hype. Frankly I don't believe we have seen the end of his legacy in people injured or killed thinking the brown bear is a big, benign cuddly bear.
I am a wildlife videographer, naturalist and consider myself a conservationist and have worked in close proximity to large animals for years. I have been lion chewed, snake bit, camel kicked, horse thrown, hog chased, elephant thrown, but it's the people that scare me, folks like Timmy that don't have the good sense the good Lord gave a goofy gopher. The only thing that Watchdog said that got me some riled was when he called me a bleeding heart. I have, in my seventy + wierd years been a hunter, trapper and fisherman and have seen enough blood to float a boat, enough for more than a lifetime but there comes a time we all must take a stand for what we believe to be right. If a bear kills someone I would be there to put the animal down but the thing that makes problem bears is humans feeding them. There I go, getting on my soapbox again. Forgive me folks and you have a nice day and go smell some flowers and roll around in a patch of poison ivy. Or maybe not. Chaz

Hey Watchdog, You fail to realizethat Tredwell was totally out of his enviroment. He had no business doing what he was doing. He killed his girlfriend, the bears are not guilt of anything. The only reason Tredwell was,nt eaten completly was once the bear got through his pale white ignorrant skin it got to the crap and did,nt like it. If my horse kicks me should we rid the world of them. Watchdog, You've made my top five uneducated, ignorrant list

What you bleeding hearts need to realize is that the world would be a better place if there wernt any bears. Poor Timoty tredwell and Amy would still be alive if it wernt for the bears. Kill them all and the world would be a safer place.
Watchdog
