Dear BR,
Now how did that slip past me. You are right about cutting the plastic can binders up so nothing can get entangled in them but the better cure is to wad the infernal things up and stuff them into an empty can, smash the can and carry it out with you.
I can’t imagine a concientious outdoorsman throwing the trash down and leaving it there. I guess that means that there are an awful lot of un-concientious idiots prowling the woods and streams today.

You might remind folks that is takes only a second to cut those plastic holders for drink cans into pieces so no animal or fish can get caught in them. BR

I am sorry but I am going to have to insist that you stop crusading for a legal hunting season for litterbugs. Hanging litterbugs along the highways is not really all that bad of an idea though.

Dear Anonymous, if you haven’t noticed the text with the photo of the vulture has been changed. You were right, it is a fake bird, put up there by the state to frighten the other vultures away and it works. My mistake, please forgive me. That is the first error I have made in years. It is usually my alter ego Chaz that makes the mistakes.
I think we should hang some stuffed litterbugs along the highways of the state to frighten the litterbugs away, what do you think?

Boy, if it is the joke is on me. This past winter this particular tower was quite festooned with vultures each evening but since this “bird” has been hanging there, Zilch! Nada!
I am going to check on this and get back with you.
You and my son Ted are of the same mind, sooo…

I’ve found a garder snake with his head inside a soda can, easy to let out at least.
Might that hanging vulture be on of the ’scarecrows’ they use to keep vultures from roosting on towers? They look like they’re hanging there, not sure how easy it would be to tell apart from the ground.
