People are interesting, not always nice but certainly interesting.
I was in the grocery store the other day and in somewhat of a hurry. Inadvertently I cut in front of a lady as I was walking down one of the isles.
Realizing what I had done, I stopped, went back and apologized. “I’m sorry for cutting in front of you mam, please forgive me.”
She looked at me and a scowl darkened her face as she exclaimed, “What’s wrong with you, are you crazy or something?”
Well yah!
Hey, some folks are just downright, rabid skunk, snake eatin’ mean.
Have we really arrived at the place where when someone is polite or courteous we take it as an affront? Sad, so sad.
When I was belly high to a short toad my folks taught me to be polite. To say “Yes sir,” and, “No sir.” They taught me to hold the door for a lady and take my hat off indoors, all sorts of stuff like that.
It doesn’t seem like parents are teaching their kids much of anything about good manners today.
It’s just called, ‘being nice’ folks! Chaz
P.S. If you have a pet peeve let me know and I will comment on it. C

You must have been at Publix. Don’t feel bad I’ve encountered the same woman. Compared to what she called me (and my parents) you got off easy.
