Needless to say, the napkins I was using for my snack, came in mighty handy...and although I think it was unnoticed by any passersby, I am pretty sure I heard a few dozen pigeons whooping it up over the sucessful attack from one of their kind! Needless to say, I was no longer in the mood for veggies and ranch dip....my snack was over. I wonder if they share these stories with their kin, the way we humans do? I must admit, many birds are beautiful and some, like the vultures are beneficial as they eat stuff that would otherwise rot and smell things up real bad, but you! Specifically you pigeons, all you do is poop! I mean you as a species are just flying poop machines! I am going to organize a group and we will call ourselves, PEOPLE AGAINST PIGEONS, or P.A.P. Never visit the San Fransico zoo. When we used to go there on a rather regular basis, I learned quickly to carry an umbrella. Sea gulls are bigger than pidgens, if you understand what I mean, and they realy do aim at you! While we do not live in the city, I guess we have city birds - I've seen a mockingbird keep our cat trapped under a bush for several hours and even attack people by dive bombing their heads. BR Chaz,
