She claimed to have "cured" several cases of snakebite with an old piece of what looked like a chicken's liver. She also had a poison stone which she claimed sucked the poison out of a snakebite victim. She hailed from the Ozarks where many folks handled snakes during their church services as a sign of faith. As I read your article I couldn't help but thinkof grandma. I think I would prefer to endure the traditional treatment and have a doctor present. And as for you Dick, what the heck are you, a whimp? An acquaintance got nailed by a cute, little, foot long pygmy rattler. It bit him on the tip of the right index finger. He was "treated" at the hospital and recieved three units of anti-venom. A week later the finger was still swollen and blue black and when I say "blue black that is what I mean, real nasty looking. He lost a lot of tissue and ended up with a deformed and useless finger but he does have bragging rights. You guys be good now ya hear, Chaz Dear Jack & Dick,
