Dear Chuck:
Thanks for your snake bite story, very interesting! What do you use to shock hand? (Using a modified stun gun?) I have no clue what that is?
I thought that you would like to know that we have a mama bear and her cub in the woods behind us, so love making is factual.

My grandmother was one of the original Foxfire contributors. She claimed to have "cured" several cases of snakebite with an old piece of what looked like a chicken's liver. She also had a poison stone which she claimed sucked the poison out of a snakebite victim. She hailed from the Ozarks where many folks handled snakes during their church services as a sign of faith. As I read your article I couldn't help but thinkof grandma. I think I would prefer to endure the traditional treatment and have a doctor present.

Dear Jack & Dick,
I definitely will run the complete article soon. And as for you Dick, what the heck are you, a whimp?
An acquaintance got nailed by a cute, little, foot long pygmy rattler. It bit him on the tip of the right index finger. He was "treated" at the hospital and recieved three units of anti-venom. A week later the finger was still swollen and blue black and when I say "blue black that is what I mean, real nasty looking. He lost a lot of tissue and ended up with a deformed and useless finger but he does have bragging rights.
You guys be good now ya hear,
Chaz

This is very important information to have in case of such a snake bite. Do plan on printing the article for all of us to have.
